Hello, Ben here. How’s your Sunday going?
We released our tenth episode last week. Titled ‘Paranoid Android’, its theme was AI and creativity and whether the two can co-exist.
Not gonna lie, we found it a bit of a challenge tbh.
Firstly, it’s not necessarily a subject either of us is particularly enthused about. You probably picked up on that if you’ve listened to the show already.
Secondly, our original attempt at recording was undone by Mel’s microphone not working. Meaning we had to scrap the original 45 minutes (too long, I know) of audio and do it all again a few days later.
Mel is adamant it wasn’t her fault.
I actually reckon it’s because our opinions on AI in that first recording that will never see the light of day were soooo scathing the robot overlords stepped in and censored us.
Still. We persevered and the show is available in the usual podcasty places. If you have listened, or will do over the next couple days, we’d love to know what you think about the following:
Are you worried that AI will take your job, or affect your ability to earn in the coming years?
Or, on the flip side…
Have you found a way to use AI that’s worked for you and increased your earning potential?
Just before I go, we mentioned this in the show but it’s worth saying here too. Thank you so much for your support over the first ten episodes of the indie business club podcast. We feel proud of ourselves for getting this far, and we’ve got lots of ideas for the future. We’re really glad to have you along for the ride.
Have a great week. And remember, you can catch up or re-listen to any of our 10 (ten) episodes on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon, Audible or wherever you get your podcasts.
Cheers,
Ben (and Mel)
PS: don’t need any excuse to reshare our amazing doodle by friend-of-the-show Amy Nolan. Might get some t-shirts and hoodies done. Anyone fancy one?
Amy has a whole great big doodle shop, check it out.
