We tend to talk about a subject’s pros/cons, pitfalls/pleasures and then conclude that there is no one right/wrong way to do things. But that’s the beauty of freelancing, innit. This time’s no different.

We’re joined by special guest Dave Harland, who happens to be Ben’s business partner. Dave and Ben co-founded their agency Copy Or Die after successfully subcontracting projects.

As always, for the first half hour we'll chat about the topic then for the second half hour we'll invite people to share their own experiences and ask questions.

With LinkedIn audio events you can just lurk and listen. No-one can see you on camera and no-one can hear you either. Even if you accidentally unmute. The only way you can be heard is if all three of these things happen:

1. you intentionally click the “raise hand” button
2. we move you from “listening” to “speaking”
3. you unmute yourself

Much lower risk than a zoom call.
